Shanghai, Buying tickets of Disneyland

I went to Disneyland on 20th, July 2019.

I went there too many times

I went there 3 times since I came to Shanghai 2 years and half before. I think Japanese people who came to Shanghai and stay long time have many chances to go to Disneyland. If you stay longer, you will meet many people who is new to Shanghai. So that you will tend to take them to Disneyland. Anyway it is no problem for me to go there because it a lot of fun!

How to buy tickets?

In my case, I buy through CTRIP app on smartphone and make cashless payment.

1. Open CTRIP app
2. Search 「迪士尼（ディズニー）」
3. Select 「上海迪士尼度假区」
4. Choose 「成人票」and「立即预订」

I paid for 5 people. I could buy 5 of them with only my personal information. I thought I need information of my friends. Maybe it was possible because of my high credit on Alipay. As you can see in bike sharing service, if you have good credit you don’t have to pay deposit. Maybe it is the same thing.

Ticket is on your smart phone

You just have to show your information inside your app to the guard and you can get inside. But you also need your passport. Don’t you forget it!

Ticket prices

1. Adults about 85USD
2. Children, Elderlies about 63USD

I paid 5 of them through app and personally received the amount from my friends through Alipay or Wechat. No stress at all. Very convenient!

Should avoid Summer holidays

I’ve been to Disneyland on July and November. It was very comfortable at the time I went on November. I regret that I went there on Summer time. Too many people. Every attractions need more than 2hrs each. It is very hot if you wait outside. I could only take 3 attractions in a day.

In China, students have summer holidays on July and August. So it might be better you go to Disneyland except those days…
